The greatest strength of self-taught Patrick Moulin is to be free: free to obey his instinct, free to follow his passions. Certainly the result of his Kabyle and Italian origins. He first sets foot in the world of Fashion at the age of 20,when he becomes one of Vogue fashion assistants, stylist for a fashion magazine, and then wardrobe manager in film and advertising. Eventually, after this 15 years-long journey, Patrick Moulin's first jewelry collection is launched: it is simple and timeless, pure and organic, solid and delicate, nostalgic and joyful, in a nutshell, atypical and surprising, expressing enthusiasm and a candid kindness, but very subtle in a both feminine and masculine sensuality. Bold and determined, Patrick Moulin exploits an unusual material, porcelain. A kind of nod to the region of his childhood, Berry. His collections pay a tribute to a natural world, mixing the romanticism of the 16th and 17th centuries with nature and the ladies of yore, whom he considers his muses, as Diane de Poitiers, Marie-Antoinette and Joan of Arc or movie stars like Bette Davis, Faye Danaway, Marlene Dietrich, Josephine Baker. Since 2010, Patrick creates hand in hand with Karine Raffali, his partner, his partner of heart, his true half extension and creative brain itself. Karine Raffali is Patrick Moulin's second half. Together they have built the brand identity and they give birth to the collections, complementing each other perfectly: he brings grandiose pieces, massive, very strong, and she adds a feminine touch, a certain softness, a fineness, making them more accessible, wearable everyday.
Patrick Moulin's creations are an ode to a world of nature, enhanced with a gothic rock spirit. Patrick Moulin and Karine Raffalli form the talented duo at the origin of this unique brand of jewelry made of porcelain. A captivating balance where worlds always collide, both Gothic and sweet, strong and fragile jewels, modern while being anchored in the heart of the oldest professions of an ancient French tradition. Patrick Berry grew up in the heart of France. Influenced by his North African and Italian heritage, he indeniably had a passion for fashion from his earliest age. Inspired by his readings and photographs, evolving within the artistic heart of Paris with such personnalities as Babeth Djian, Michele Mountain, Topolino and Fred Farrugia felt absolutely natural for him. Having worked as an accountant, waiter, salesman, assistant stylist, his creations reflect his uncommon and varied career. Karine, having studied business and having pursued a successful career as a makeup artist, ensures a perfect reach to the brand, from inspiration to design, and from the packaging to communication. She completes the creation process and brings these magnificent pieces tinged with a feminine touch a certain softness and smoothness, making them easier to wear everyday. Karine and Patrick are devout protectors of the "Made in France" label and its expertise. By partnering with Pillivuyt 1881, one of the oldestFrench china houses, they are able to give their pieces the manufacturing excellence of an ancient trade combined with sensual gothic rock modern designs.
