Jewellery
Mademoiselle S. is a French brand of jewelry and fashion accessories. The designer, Sophie Michel, 23, offers through the brand high-end jewelry and fashion accessories. Engineer in information systems, passionate about creation, Sophie Michel launched her brand in 2010 and then joined the French Institute of Fashion in Paris. During her studies, she designed and produced refined, sophisticated and singular pieces. In early 2012, she teamed up with Louise Remy, a longtime friend, to give the brand a boost, and offer it a real international dimension. Each piece is handmade in her Parisian studio, in collaboration with French artisans known for their expertise.
Mademoiselle S. collections are inspired by the geometry of the shapes and colors of the Mayan empire, and more generally pre-Columbian America. They focus on the work of two materials: suede leather and brass. They incorporate precious metals, bronze, silver and gold. Sometimes mysterious, sometimes romantic, Mademoiselle S. is meant for modern amazons in search of adventure and freedom. Headlines and serpentine chains are honored. Divided into four acts, each collection is striking by its consistency. From one theme to another, style changes, but the spirit remains the same.
