During an exploratory expedition in India, Claire discovers the world of precious stones;
she then creates her first associations of stones and links.
Collections grew and the company bearing her name is created in London in 1999 and Paris in 2003.
Painter, designer and plastic artist, Claire de Divonne has explored many artistic paths before discovering how to express her talent as a gem colorist and designer. Thus, she experiences the same sensations when she chooses and assembles the minerals that when she works the pigments.
In her parisian studio, she cuts, draws, looks for shapes that may become jewelry with a playful and poetic spirit, carrying on the lightness of her happy childhood. Gold threads, silver cuttings, cut stones, multicolored ribbons come together to give life to the collections.
